With over 24 years of technical and management experience in the semiconductor industry, Uttam Singhal serves as the CEO of SignOff Semiconductors. Holding an MSc. Engineering degree from Coventry University, UK, Uttam has held pivotal roles at industry leaders like ST Microelectronics, AMD, and Intel before bringing his expertise to SignOff.

Uttam’s career began in full custom designs, focusing on analog and memory design for over a decade. He later transitioned into semi-custom physical design, gaining extensive expertise across SOC functions (STA, PnR, PhyV, LP methodologies, etc.) and successfully taping out chips using cutting-edge technologies from 350nm to 5nm.

Over the last 3 years at SignOff, Uttam has played an instrumental role as a board member, helping expand the company’s business into new geographies. He has also been key in defining new business goals and strategies, strengthening SignOff’s technical leadership in the semiconductor industry.

Known for his strong technical leadership and management skills, Uttam has led teams in SOC and PnR, contributing significantly to the successful tape-out of several complex discrete graphics and machine learning chips. As CEO, his vision and leadership are poised to drive SignOff into its next phase of innovation and success.
