Rakesh Trivedi is an accomplished leader with 27 years of experience spanning Semicon, Telecommunications, Technology, IoT, Smart Cities, IT & Media, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of successfully developing and scaling businesses. His career has been defined by building innovative solutions, driving strategic partnerships, and leading business development initiatives across industries.

Rakesh joins us from Tech Mahindra, where he was the VP & Global Head of Hi-Tech Business.

He had Co-Founded a Smart Cities Start Up and was a founding member for the IoT Practice at Tata Communications, spearheading projects that transformed digital landscapes. He built a successful IoT business at Tata, leading the design-to-manufacturing initiative for LoRAWAN sensors, and expanded the company’s footprint with smart city solutions deployed across 45 cities.

Rakesh was a part of a 6-member team who has been credited to have launched Intel’s 1^st mobile device – Xolo 900 in the world. They were also instrumental in building the tablet & 2 in 1 category for Intel India and South Asia, working closely with the Local OEMs.

While working at Tata Teleservices he led & launched Location based services for both B2B and B2C solutions.  At Qualcomm, he worked very closely with the CDMA Telecom Operators & OEM partners to launch new & feature rich CDMA mobiles devices and Data Dongles. He has also worked with Motorola, Sify & Times Group in the early years of his career.

Rakesh has an MBA degree from Pune University and is a B.Sc. Electronics from Fergusson College.
